Keeping your electrolyte balance is important, more so if you're an athlete. And if it's hot? That's right, you need even more.
But if you're fed up of drinking the stuff, grab some cheap ice lolly moulds and make these to suck on over the summer! Coconut water is a natural alternative to sports drinks and is often used to treat and prevent dehydration. Coconut water is a good source of electrolytes because it contains potassium, sodium, magnesium, and calcium, which help your body maintain fluid balance. Electrolyte Ice Lolly Ingredients
Enough coconut water to fill your ice lolly mould (circa 85ml)
Electrolyte Ice Lolly Method
Fill your ice lolly mould.
Freeze for at least 2 hours.
Cool off and feel smug about how well hydrated you are.
